It was an act of violence that shook the whole of Germany: on 11 March 2009, 17-year-old Tim K. entered the classrooms of the Albertville school in the south-west German town of Winnenden and opened fire on teachers and fellow students. By the end of his shooting spree he had killed 15 people. The parents, colleagues and friends of those murdered also became victims. This documentary investigates the emotional wounds of those close by and those left behind, and looks at how they are trying to cope with what happened.
